Army Institute of Education (AIE) was established in August 2003 with the vision of providing pre-service teacher education to the dependents of Army personnel under the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). Initially located in Delhi Cantt, the institute moved to its current campus in Greater Noida on July 23, 2013. The campus is situated in Plot M-1, Pocket P-5, Greater Noida, Gautam Budh Nagar (UP), just 3.5 km from Pari Chowk, making it well-connected to Noida and Delhi via public transport. Affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi, AIE is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for its Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program and by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) for its B.Ed. Special Education (Learning Disability) program. The institute is also accredited by NAAC with an “A” grade and holds ISO 9001:2015 certification.Spread over nearly 2.92 acres, the lush green campus provides a conducive learning environment.
