Each Honours program includes the following components:
Core Subjects – In-depth papers related to the main discipline
Discipline Specific Electives (DSE)
Generic Electives (GE) – Chosen from other departments
Ability Enhancement Courses (AEC) – e.g., English Communication, Environmental Science
Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC) – Practical, job-oriented skills
Value Added Courses (VAC) – Ethics, Digital Literacy, etc.
Must have passed Class XII from a recognized board
Admission through CUET (UG) under Delhi University admission process
Minimum aggregate usually around 45%, subject to category and course requirements
₹12,000 – ₹20,000 for the complete 3-year course
DU colleges like Aditi Mahavidyalaya are subsidized, making fees very affordable
Graduates of B.A. (Hons.) can pursue careers or higher studies in:
Civil services, SSC, teaching
Journalism, content writing, translation, publishing
NGOs and social sector (especially for Social Work)

Policy research, international relations, political analysis (for Pol. Sci./History)
