The B.Sc. (Programme) offers a multi-disciplinary science education, unlike B.Sc. (Hons.) which is focused on one subject. Students study two or three core subjects throughout the degree.

Life Sciences: Botany + Zoology + Chemistry
Mathematics + Computer Science + Physics (if offered)
Students are generally required to choose a main combination at the time of admission.
Core Subjects: Two or more science subjects studied over six semesters
Generic Electives (GE): Chosen from non-science disciplines like Environmental Studies, English, Economics, etc.
Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC): Applied courses like Lab Techniques, Data Handling, Python, etc.
Ability Enhancement Courses (AEC): English or MIL Communication, Environmental Studies
Value Addition Courses (VAC): Soft skills, ethics, digital literacy
Classroom-based lectures and practical lab work
Continuous internal assessment (tests, presentations, assignments)
Semester-end university examinations
Field visits or small project work (in some subjects)
