In B.Sc. (General), students typically study two or three science subjects depending on the combination chosen. This makes the course more flexible compared to the specialized B.Sc. (Hons.). The subjects offered could include:

Environmental Science
Computer Science
Life Sciences
Core Science Subjects:
The core subjects form the foundation of the course. The student can choose combinations such as Physics + Chemistry, Mathematics + Computer Science, etc.
Practical/Lab Work:
Lab work is an essential component of the B.Sc. (General) program, where students get hands-on experience in various scientific techniques.
AECC (Ability Enhancement Compulsory Courses):
Includes Environmental Studies and English Communication as mandatory subjects.
SEC (Skill Enhancement Courses):
These are designed to help students gain practical skills like programming, data analysis, laboratory skills, or any other science-related skills.
GE (Generic Electives):
Students may be allowed to choose electives from other disciplines such as Economics, Political Science, or Psychology, depending on the college and course offerings.
VAC (Value-Added Courses):
These courses focus on soft skills, ethics, and sustainability.
10+2 with a Science background (PCM or PCB), depending on the subject combination chosen.
Admission is based on CUET (Common University Entrance Test) scores.

Data Analyst (especially for Mathematics and Computer Science graduates)
